The challenge
Most freight and clearance companies in Iraq run on scattered spreadsheets and phone calls: shipment status in one place, customs steps and container deadlines in another, invoices and payroll in a third. The accounts aren't built from real journal entries, and clients have to call to ask where their goods are.

What we built
A multi-company web platform where each company works on its own subdomain, fully separated from the others. It covers the whole shipment lifecycle, the ASYCUDA declaration workflow, containers and demurrage, quotations from rate cards, double-entry accounting in IQD and USD, payroll, fleet and drivers, and document archiving. Importers also get a trading module that runs from request for quotation to sales invoice.

Key features
- ASYCUDA customs declaration workflow
- Client tracking link, no login
- Automatic container demurrage
- Double-entry accounting in IQD and USD
- Payroll with automatic entries under Iraqi rules
- Quotations priced from rate cards
- Import trading from RFQ to sales invoice
- Role-based permissions with a full audit log

How it's used
Staff register shipments and move them through port, customs, transit and delivery. Every clearance step has an owner, and stuck steps raise alerts. Accountants post invoices and vouchers, and large vouchers need a second approval. Clients follow their shipment through an emailed link with no login, without seeing prices or internal notes.
